Floyd Lubarski, 91, died April 5, 2000, at the Kittson Memorial Nursing Home in Hallock, Minn.
He was born Sept. 10, 1908, in rural Argyle, Minn., the son of Peter and Mary (Cieklinski) Lubarski. He was a lifelong resident of the Argyle area. On June 27, 1934, he married Agnes Nadolski. They made their home in rural Argyle, where they farmed. In 1961 they moved into Argyle. They owned and operated the Main Street Cafe in Warren, Minn., from 1961 to 1982. Agnes died on July 28, 1992.
Survivors include four children, Leonard (Shirley) of Embarrass, Gerald of Elbow Lake, Minn., Shirley Anfinson of Durand, Iowa, and Patricia (Duane) Hoeper of Stephen, Minn.; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Theresa Voytilla, of Baudette, Minn.; brother, Stanley Lubarski, of Argyle; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Agnes; sons, Donald and Richard; granddaughter, Tami Lubarski; great-granddaughter, Amber Hoeper; great-grandson, Colby Hoeper; and four brothers, Roman, Edmund, Peter and Frank.
