Lubarski, MaryAnn (Bukowski) (1926-2008)

MaryAnn Lubarski, 82, of Strandquist, MN, died on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Center in Warren, MN.

MaryAnn was born on April 17, 1926 in Wanger Township, Marshall County, MN, near Stephen, MN, the daughter of Frank and Sophie (Miedzianowski) Bukowski. She grew up near Middle River, MN where she attended country school until the 8th grade and attained her GED later in life. On June 18, 1947, she was married to Edmund Lubarski at the Jane Mission Catholic Church in rural Middle River. They made their home near Florian, MN where they farmed and raised seven children. On August 30, 1970, MaryAnn started working at Arctic Cat Garment Division in Karlstad, MN sewing snowmobile apparel. She continued working for Arctic Cat and eventually Artco, Inc. until retiring in 1982. After MaryAnn retired, she kept busy with her grandchildren, crocheting, embroidering, quilting and other challenging activities.

She was a member of the Argyle American Legion Auxiliary, Assumption Church of Florian and the Assumption Ladies Rosary Sodality.

MaryAnn loved her family and friends very much and will be missed by those who survive her, including: three sons, Richard (Joanne) Lubarski of Cedar, MN, Conrad (Merece) Lubarski of Argyle, MN and Gregory (Sheryl) Lubarski of Strandquist, MN; four daughters, Betty (Dale) Bedard of Apple Valley, MN, Joan (Wayne) Krantz of Karlstad, MN, Carole (Gayle) Stoltman of Argyle, MN and Lori Ann (Ellery) Hoch of Wolf Point, MT; sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Clara Kasprowicz of Warren, MN; sister-in-law, Theresa Voytilla of Karlstad, MN; brother-in-law, Stanley Lubarski of Strandquist, MN; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Edmund; two brothers; two sisters and one great-granddaughter.
