Harry D. Kujava, 82, died Tuesday, May 5, 1998 at Dakota Heartland Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 9 at 2 p.m. at Assumption Catholic Church in Florian. Burial was in the Assumption Cemetery. The Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home of Warren was in charge of the arrangements.
Harry D. Kujava was born on April 9, 1916 in Wright township of Marshall county, the son of Peter and Katherine (Przybylski) Kujava. He attend school in Wright township and was baptized and confirmed at Assumption Catholic Church in Florian.
On June 28, 1949 he was united in marriage to Dolores Donarski at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in rural Argyle. He farmed in Marsh Grove township in Marshall county near Newfolden.
A member of Assumption Catholic Church, Harry enjoyed his farm and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He spend many hours playing cards with grandchildren and friends. He also enjoyed fishing.
Harry is survived by his wife, Dolores; two daughters, Betty (David) Conley of Warren and Adele (Mark) Betts of Grand Forks; four sons, Peter of Warroad, Roger (Terrie) of Hawley, Daniel (Dee) and Gordon (Colette), both of Newfolden; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Rufina Shoquist of Apple Valley, CA and Gertrude Kasprowicz of Stephen; and one brother Evald (Mary) Kujava of Strandquist.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, JoAnn; one brother, Thomas; and two sisters, Lorraine and Antoinette.
