Julia Dorothy Kittelson, 89, formerly of Strandquist, died Saturday, February 11, 2006 in Seattle, Wash.
A memorial service will be held at Marmrelund Cemetery on Memorial Day weekend, at a time and date to be announced later this Spring. Collins Funeral Home, Karlstad, is in charge of local arrangements.
Julia was born September 4, 1916 in Strandquist, to E.R. and Anna (Isaccson) Anderson.
Julia was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Thompson and infant son, Gerald Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Kittelson. Julia was known as a very loving and giving person who will always be remembered by what she gave to others. Julia was very devoted to her family and took great joy in family gatherings.
She worked at the Fuji store in Wallingford, Washington for 35 years and was well known in the neighborhood.
She is survived by her four children, Jerome (Dot) Thompson, Rodney (Judy) Kittelson, Merita Kittelson Tuck, Curtis (Luann) Kittelson, her 14 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren, as well as a sister, Ruth Storeby of Fergus Falls and brother Harold (Lois) Anderson of Park River, N.D., and, numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death also by her parents, and brother, Art Anderson of Strandquist.
