Alvira May Knutson was born at Mclntosh, Minn., April 27, 1920, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.(Clara) Rudolph Syverson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Mclntosh.
She grew to womanhood in the McIntosh community and was united in marriage to Archie Knutson on August 20, 1939 at Mclntosh. Mr. and Mrs. Knutson then moved to Middle River, Minn, where they operated a farm.
Mrs. Knutson passed away suddenly at a hospital in Thief River Falls on Saturday morning, Feb. 24. At the time of her death she was 30 years of age.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Knutson is survived by three daughters, Jeannette, Judith and Kathryn all of Middle River. She also is survived by her father, Rudolph Syverson of Mclntosh, five sisters, Clara of Mclntosh, Anola of Trail, Minn, Ardith, Mary and Faith Syverson, all of Mclntosh; six brothers, Francis, Edwin, Allen, Morris, Rupert and Gordon Syverson all of Mclntosh.
Her mother, two sisters, and one brother preceded her in death. She also is survived by many other relatives and friends.
