Another Pneumonia Victim Passes Away

Donald Clifford Verne Haugen, little two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Haugen of Thief Lake passed away at his home at Thief Lake on Wednesday, April 24th, 1935 from pneumonia, at the age of 2 years, 8 months, and 23 days.

He was born August 01, 1932 at Littlefork, Minnesota. He leaves to mourn his very sad departure, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Haugen and other relatives.

Funeral was held the 28th at Thief Lake, with Rev. Trelstad officiating.

Our Darling
We had a little treasure once
He was our joy and pride
We loved him, oh perhaps too well
For soon he slept and died.
All is dark within our dwelling
Lonely are our heats today.
For the one we loved so dearly
Has forever passed away.
