Jerley Henrickson, 76 Stephen, died at First Care Health Center, Park River, Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005.
Jerley Henrickson was born at Lancaster, March 22, 1928, the son of Otto and Betsy (Hanson) Henrickson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and attended school in Lancaster and later Warren.
On Oct. 28, 1951 he was united in marriage to MaryAnn Berg at the Salem Lutheran Church, rural Stephen. Jerley served in the U.S. Army and was stationed at West Point in New York. After his military service, Jerley and MaryAnn settled near Stephen and farmed in Sinnott Township.
In addition to farming, Jerley also worked at American Crystal Sugar Company for many years. He retired in 1992. In retirement, Jerley and MaryAnn enjoyed making wood crafts that they displayed at many area craft shows.
Family members include two daughters, Cathy (David) Johnson, Park River, and Wendy (John) Oistad, Hoople; two sons, Todd (Shirley) Henrickson, Stephen and Terry (Shannon) Henrickson, Argyle; 12 grandchildren, DeeJay, Mari, Kristin, Jana, Sally, Riley, Reece, Robyn, Rebekah, Rhett, Taryn and Bryce; three brothers, Vernon (Sue) Henrickson, Bear Valley Springs, Calif., Dennis (Joyce) Henrickson, Woodstock, Ill. and Odee (Alvina) Henrickson, Willmar; two sisters, Dale (Glenn) Carpenter, Crookston, and Elaine (Larry) Keller, Coon Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
