Edwin Anderson was born May 13, 1905 in Warren, the son of Christ and Ida Anderson. He attended country schools in Boxville, Foldahl and McCrea Townships and on June 23, 1927 married Hannah Berg in Warren. The Andersons farmed in McCrea Township from 1932 to 1948 and then in Viking Township from 1948-1973 when they moved in Warren. He was employed by the Marshall County Highway Department. Mr. Anderson died Saturday at the Warren Hospital following a short illness.
Survivors include his wife, Hannah, three sons, Dennis, Curtis and Marlin, all of Warren, twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Mattie Arms of Minneapolis, Mrs. Inga Bjorgen of Minneapolis, Mrs. Evelyn (Orval) Toftner of Mapleton and Mrs. Irene (John) Eberhart of International Falls, He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and five brothers.
Funeral Services for Mr. Anderson were held Tuesday August 15th at Our Saviors Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Christensen officiating.
