Lowell Duane Anderson, 65, died May 5, 2001, at his home at rural Warren MN. Lowell was born on November 18, 1935, in Warren, the son of Hugo and Gladys (Peters) Anderson. He graduated from Warren High School in 1953 and served in the U.S. Army.
On September 28, 1957, he married Roberta Kay Farbo at Lancaster MN, and they made their home in Warren where they farmed.
Lowell was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Warren where he had served on the church council. He was also a member of Warren American Legion Post 27, a former longtime member of the Warren Snowcat Club, member and treasurer of the Warren Rod and Gun Club, and a past member and leader of McCrea 4-H.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Kay; sons Tracy Duane Anderson of Warren and Spencer Dean (Diane) Anderson of Angus MN; daughters Terri Dawn (Phillip) Anderson-Webb of Brooklyn Park MN and Dayle Denise Anderson-Scherber of Warren; seven grandchildren; and brothers Loren (Marion) Anderson of Apple Valley MN and Gene (Connie) Anderson of Moorhead MN.
Lowell was preceded in death by his parents.
