Mrs. George Asp, 21

Funeral services were conducted
Friday afternoon for Mrs. George
Asp, nee Doris Ose, who passed
away Aug. 29 at the home of her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Ose, in
Silverton twp. Rev. E.F. Rabine,
assisted by Rev. J.O. Jacobsen and
Rev. Jack Hanson of Crookston,
conducted rites at 1 o'clock in the
Mission Covenant church as the
First Baptist church was being re-
decorated, and at 3 o'clock in the
Bethlehem Lutheran church Rev.
Silas Erickson officiated assisted
by Rev. James Asp of Montana,
brother-in-law of the deceased, and
Rev. Jack Hanson of Crookston.
Burial was made in the Bethlehem
cemetery.
Mrs. Asp, who was 21 years of
age, is survived by her husband;
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Ose;
three sisters and three brothers,
Mrs Carl Berggren of this city,
Mrs. Erling Tungseth of Minnea-
polis, Miss Eleanor Ose of this ci-
ty, Kenneth Ose with the navy on
Saipan, Glen and Raymond at
home; six uncles and one aunt. A
brother preceded here in death.
Mrs. Asp is a graduate of Lin-
coln high school in 1941 and was
employed as saleslady in the Wool-
worth stores at Fargo and Thief
River Falls. She was married Oct.
10, 1942, by Rev. E.L. Tungseth
in this city, and while her husband
underwent military training in
Grand Forks she lived in that city.
She also spent some time in Sa-
cramento, Calif., while her husband
was stationed there and following
his medical discharge, they moved
back to this city. Mrs. Asp was
born Jan. 25, 1924 in Pennington
county.
