Denise D. Beito, 37, of Goodridge and formerly of the Middle River community, died Friday, February 27, 2009 as the result of a fire near Wolf Lake in Becker County.
Memorial services were held Sunday, March 8 at the River of Life Church in Thief River Falls, with pastors Troy Bates and Katie Koch officiating.
Denise Dawn Beito, the daughter of Daryl Beito and Patricia (Black) Hoover, was born on March 5, 1971, in Thief River Falls. She was baptized in the Christian faith and confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Thief Lake. Denise attended school at Middle River and later, at Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls. She made her home at Thief River Falls and later moved to Phoenix, Ariz.
In 2004, she returned to Thief River Falls and in 2006, moved to Goodridge, where she had since resided. Denise was employed at the Johnson Boarding Home, K-Mart, Arctic Cat and Oakland Park Nursing Home, all of Thief River Falls. She was attending Northland Community & Technical College for cosmetology at the time of her death.
Denise is survived by three children: Brady Beito, of Cottage Grove, Tara Beito, of Thief River Falls, and Jeffrey Klinke, of Cottage Grove; her mother: Patty (Black) Hoover of Thief River Falls; her father, Daryl (Nina) Beito of Greenbush; two brothers, Blaine (Amber) Black of Halstad and Chris (Jodie) Beito of Roseau; one sister, Angie (Ryan) Hollenbeck of Minot, N.D.; paternal grandmother, Joyce (Glenn) Taylor of Middle River; maternal grandfather, John Black of Karlstad; special friend, Jeff Matson of Thief River Falls; in addition to many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather: Elwood Beito and her maternal grandmother: Christine Black.
Funeral arrangements were with Collins Funeral Home of Karlstad, Greenbush and Middle River.
