Duane Bjorgaard, 71, of Rural Argyle, died Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at his home.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 6, at the DuBore Funeral Home in Warren. Interment was held at Alma Lutheran Cemetery in Alma Township, Marshall County.
Duane Myles Bjorgaard was born August 28, 1934 in Alma Township, Marshall County, the son of Henry and Ella (Bengtson) Bjorgaard. He was a life long resident of Alma Township. He attended country school and graduated from Argyle High School.
Duane enlisted in the US Army on December 11, 1957 and served in Germany. Upon his honorable discharge on December 4, 1959, he returned to Alma Township where he farmed.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Left to mourn his passing are two sisters and four brothers, Dorothy (Ed) Hanson of Palm Harbor, Fla., Darlyne (Ralph) Solem of Baxter, Joel (Kay) Bjorgaard of Park Rapids, Donald (Pauline) Bjorgaard of Newfolden, Ralph Bjorgaard of Hackensack, and James (Patricia) Bjorgaard of Warren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Howard Bjorgaard; and sister-in-law, Barbara Bjorgaard.
