James Conely, 86, of rural Warren, MN, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2008 at his home.
James Conely was born on January 3, 1922 at Thief River Falls, MN, the son of James and Catherine (McMahon) Conely. He spent his early years in Thief River Falls and Donaldson, MN. On October 16, 1941, he was united in marriage to Twyla Conely at Newfolden, MN. They made their home in rural Warren where they farmed. In the early 1980’s, they started County Woodcrafts. Twyla died on November 3, 1995.
Jim and Twyla enjoyed traveling and doing wood working crafts together.
Left to mourn his passing are four children: Darla Jones of Apache Junction, AZ, Donna (Gene) Ljunggren, Mary (Dean) Dahlman and Robert (Shelly) Conely all of Warren, MN, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, eleven great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, grandson, Michael Ljunggren, sisters, Madelyn Stone, Eleanor Monroe and Cecelia Witta, brothers, Pat, Jack, George, Dennie and Mike, niece, Patricia Stone and nephew, Donald Conely.
