Bonita Fulton , 84, of Thief River Falls, MN died on Saturday, October 03, 2009 at the Thief River Falls Care Center in Thief River Falls.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. Raynard Huglen officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Warren, MN.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
Bonita Belle Jeanette Lull was born on July 1, 1925, the daughter of Leonard and Ellen (Floberg) Lull in Warren, MN. She grew up and graduated from high school in Warren.
In 1944, she married Floyd Fulton and they lived on a farm by Warren until 1952, when they moved to Goodridge, MN. Floyd passed away in June of 1978. Bonita continued to live on the farm for a couple of years before moving into Thief River Falls, MN. She has lived at the Thief River Care Center since 2006.
Bonita always had a big garden on the farm, and did lots of canning. She loved to play cards, bingo and have coffee parties. She was a member of the Telemarken Lutheran Church, and the Ladies Aid at Telemarken church. She was best known for lending a helping hand to anyone in need.
Left to mourn her passing are two sons: Ronald Fulton, Roseau, MN, Robert (Cora) Fulton, Indiana, PA; son in law John Scheie of Red Lake Falls, MN, five grandchildren: Sherry, Brad (Jesse), and John Scheie, Jesse and Scott Fulton, 2 great grandchildren: Alex and Mercedes Scheie; 2 step grandchildren, John and Jenny Dahlstrom, many nieces and nephews,
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter Ellen Scheie, and one grandson Robert Fulton Jr., brothers, Frank, Arthur, Archie, Earl, & one in infancy, sisters: Evelyn, Lucille, Eleanor, Hazel, and Lilly.
