Funeral services for Arnold Holl, 78, of this city were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Green Funeral chapel. Holl died Monday, March 4, at Northwestern Hospital.
Rev. Ivan Carlson, pastor of the Evangelical Free church, officiated at the services. Mrs. Arnold Hammer served as organist and soloist. Interment will be in the Folden cemetery.
Pallbearers were Clifford Rohlf, Arthur Forsberg, Leslie Kulseth, Willie Garfve, Willis Rux and Duane Rux.
Arnold Holl, a son of the late Oswald and Olia Holl, was born March 20, 1897 at Holt. There he attended school and grew to manhood. He came to Thief River Falls and was employed at various places before he went to work for Forsberg’s, Inc. He was employed there as a machinist for 17 years, retiring in 1961.
On Nov. 13, 1959, he was united in marriage to Mary Turcotte.
Surviving are his wife, one brother, Willie Holl of Hollister, Calif., and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by six sisters and four brothers.
