Harriet Iverson, 96, of East Grand Forks, MN, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at her home.
Harriet Lee Wood was born on January 12, 1912 in Warren, MN, the daughter of Mabel and Arthur Wood. She attended country grade school and graduated from Warren High School in 1929. On September 22, 1934, she was united in marriage to Henning Iverson. They made their home in Angus, MN for 53 years. In 1987, they moved to East Grand Forks. Henning died on August 6, 1993.
Harriet was a lifetime member of the Angus-Tabor Presbyterian Church. She was very fond of the people in the Angus and Warren communities.
Left to mourn her passing are two children, son, Roger (Evie) Iverson of Minot, ND and daughter, Gayle (Ronald) Owens of Grand Forks, ND; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six nieces; three nephews and one sister, Arletta Marlette of Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Allaire; granddaughter, Lori; three brothers, William, LeRoy and Gaylord and two sisters, Phyllis and Mavis.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at the Angus-Tabor Presbyterian Church in Angus, MN.
VISITATION: One hour before services at the church.
INTERMENT: Greenwood Cemetery, Warren, MN.
