Jameson, Connie (Schafer) (1952-2006)

Connie Jameson, 54, Warren, MN, formerly of Grand Forks, Bismarck and Mandan, ND, died unexpectedly on Sunday evening, August 13, 2006 at Riverview Hospital in Crookston, MN.

Connie Schafer was born on March 4, 1952 in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Edward and Alma (Hartwig) Schafer. She attended Catholic grammar schools and Simle Jr. High School in Bismarck. Connie received her GED diploma at United Tribes Educational Center in Bismarck. She married Virgil R. Follows The Road in 1971. They lived in Jamestown, ND and Sioux Falls, SD and they were divorced in 1975. Connie married David J. Jameson on August 11, 1977. They lived in Mandan and Grand Forks before moving to Warren in 1996. Connie was employed as a nurses aide and janitor in Bismarck, dishwasher at UND, mail sorter at the Grand Forks AFB and most recently as a relief caregiver for Marshall County Group Homes. She had not been employed for the past several years due to declining health.

She enjoyed visiting with friends, cooking, reading, crocheting and quilting with good friend, Lois Horter.

Left to mourn her passing are her husband, David J. Jameson of Warren, MN, four children, Virgil (Brenda) Road of Grafton, ND, Ralph Jameson of Warren, MN, Annette (Jeff Locke) Boyer of Minneapolis, MN and Alise (Oliver) Van Hecke-Jameson of Ghent, Belgium, three grandchildren, sister, Bonnie (Kurt) Benson, brother, Kevin (Linnie) Schafer, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Virgil.
