Word was received here Monday that Daniel Johnson had died that morning in the hospital at Langdon, N.D. after about three weeks sickness of typhoid fever. His brother, Victor, went to Langdon and brought the remains here, arriving home Wednesday.
The funeral will be held at 2 o’clock this afternoon at the home of the mother, Mrs. Torstein Elefson. Rev. Kilen of Newfolden officiating and burial will be made in the Folden cemetery.
Daniel Johnson was born on the old homestead in the town of Holt, Marshall Co. Minn. On Jan 10th, 1887 and was one of a family of eleven children, all of whom are here to attend the funeral except a sister, Mrs. Fourner of Chicago whose address is not known. Those from away who are here to attend the funeral are: Miss Ruth Johnson of St. Paul, Miss Anna Johnson of Ryder, N.D., Mrs. Fred Johnson of Thief River Falls and Oscar Johnson of Kraska.
