Hans Johnson, 87, formerly of rural Goodridge, died April 26 at the Northwest Medical center in Thief River Falls.
Funeral services were held April 29 at the Green Funeral chapel with Rev. Eugene Floistad officiating. Special music was provided by Grace Hammer, organist. Casketbearers were Herman Christopherson, Dean Kaushagen, Jerrold Nelson, Norris Trochmann and Rueben Wold. Interment was in the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in Adger township, Marshall county. The Green Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Hans Johnson was born Nov. 14, 1903 in Adgar township, Marshall county, the son of Martin and Kari (Myre) Johnson. He attended the #118 school in Adger township and grew up there. He was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith at Bethlehem Lutheran church. He farmed in Adger township where he raised cattle, retired in 1978. He later moved into Thief River Falls.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1931, his mother in 1933, and his only brother in 1950.
