Funeral Rites Today
for Mrs. Kari Johnson

Funeral services will be held
this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the
Bethlehem church, Rev. E.L.
Tungseth officiating, for Mrs. Kari
Johnson who died at her home in
Agder township Monday, July 3,
at the age of 69. Interment will
be made at Bethlehem cemetery.
Kari Johnson was born in Val-
ders, Norway, Nov. 14, 1863, and
was married in Norway in 1884 to
Martin Johnson, coming to this
country and settling in Fergus
Falls the year of her marriage.
The following year she moved to
St. Thomas, N. Dak., and in 1897
she settled in Agder township
where she has since resided.
Surviving her are two sons,
Oleander and Hans, both at home.
Three sisters and four brothers
are still in Norway, and another
brother, Nels Myhre, lives in
British Columbia. Her husband
preceded her in death in Decem-
ber, 1931.
