Lyle Jorgenson, 60, of rural Roseau, MN, formerly of Warren, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at his home.
Lyle was born on May 14, 1950 in Warren, the son of Raymond and Harriet (Larson) Jorgenson. He attended school in Warren and he graduated from Warren High School. In February of 1971, Lyle married Phyllis Aasand. They made their home in Warren. He worked for the Local Union 548 as a millwright. He retired in 2000. Lyle moved to Island Lake near Lengby, MN in 1994 and than to rural Roseau in 2006.
He enjoyed being in the outdoors and hunting and fishing.
Left to mourn his passing are his children, Lynette Franks (Marc Geatz) of Grand Forks, ND and Jason (Tina) Jorgenson of Grand Rapids, MN; three grandchildren, Kelsey Franks, Katelyn Franks and Haley Jorgenson; mother, Harriet Kujava of Thief River Falls, MN; siblings, Gerald (Mary) Jorgenson of Dent, MN, Kermit Jorgenson of Roseau, MN and Mary (Al) Stortroen of Crookston, MN and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond and sister, Shirley Jorgenson.
