Barbara Laudal, 91, Grand Forks, ND, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at her home in Parkwood Place.
Barbara Loeslie was born on March 18, 1914 at Radium, MN, the daughter of Charles and Louisa (Schrank) Loeslie. She spent her early years in the Radium area. Barbara married Stanley Laudal in 1939. She moved to California and worked in an aircraft factory until moving to Thief River Falls, MN where she owned and operated a cafAC. with her sister, Ethel, for many years. Barbara moved to Crookston, MN where she owned and operated The Spot. In 1971, she moved to Lakeside, Oregon where she lived with her sister, Lucille, and ran her restaurant. She moved to Grand Forks in 2003 and lived with her sister, Florence, until moving to Parkwood Place in 2005.
Barb enjoyed spending time with her sisters, especially Florence.
Left to mourn her passing are a son and daughter-in-law; Larry and Donna Laudal of Warren, MN, two grandchildren; Stacy (Terry) Anderson and Paula (Jason) Moug all of Warren, MN, four grandchildren; Conner, Chase and Kaitlyn Anderson and Sydney Moug, brother, Benjamin Loeslie of Grand Forks, ND, two sisters; Mildred Berggren of Zimmerman, MN and Florence LaMonte of Grand Forks, ND and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Herbert Loeslie and three sisters; Ethel Collins, Annabelle Thietje and Lucille Huotari.
