Lillie M. Malm, 89, Warren, formerly of Argyle, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003 at the Good Samaritan Center, Warren.
Lillie Dahlquist was born Oct. 3, 1913 in Warren, the daughter of John and Esther (Johnson) Dahlquist.
She was raised in rural Warren and graduated from Warren High School. Lillie also graduated from North Star Teachers College in Warren.
On June 11, 1935, she was united in marriage to Walter R. Malm. They made their home in rural Argyle where they farmed.
Walter died Jan. 19, 1972. After Walter died, Lillie moved to Alexandria until moving back to Warren in 1994. She moved to the Good Samaritan Center in 1997.
She enjoyed working with flowers, gardening and doing needle point. Lillie was also an excellent seamstress. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors are three children; Willis R. (Marilyn) Malm, Fresno, Calif.; Lowell Malm, St. Peter, and Kenneth W. (Delores) Malm, Alvarado; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Harriet Johnson, Alexandria, and Helen Hickman, Warren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Clarence and George and two sisters, Agnes and Minnie.
