Adeline Moothart was born in Warren, Minnesota, May 8, 1923, the daughter of the late Henry and Esther Berg Myrfield. She was reared on the family farm near Warren. Adeline married Harvey Edwin (Eddie) Moothart in 1941 and they farmed in the Warren area until the early fifties. She and Eddie farmed near St. Hilaire, MN during the 1950’s, and resided in Gonvick, MN during the Sixties and early Seventies, and in Alvarado, MN until 1997 when she and Eddie moved to Northside Terrace Apartments in Hawley, MN. Eddie preceded her in death, February 12, 2006.
Mrs. Moothart was a homemaker and assisted Eddie in farming. She was employed for many years as school cook at the public school in Gonvick, MN.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded death by her son-in-law, Dale Refshaw, March 21, 2007.She is survived by daughters, Diane Refshaw, Fridley, MN, Joan (Robert) Wallace, West Hickory, PA, and son, Mark of Hawley and by sister, Eileen Baird, Warren, MN.Also surviving are six grandchildren, one step grandchild, twelve great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren in addition to many cousins and nieces and nephews.
