Gunhild Ose Services
Held At Bethlehem

Funeral services for
Gunhild Ose, 93, of Thief River
Falls, were held Friday at 2:00
p.m., at the Bethlehem
Lutheran church, rural Thief
River Falls. Mrs. Ose died
Tuesday afternoon at Oakland
Park Nusing home, where
she had been a resident since
Rev. Leslie Galland of-
ficiated at the services
together with Johan Koren,
student pastor at Our Savior's
Lutheran Church, and Rev.
George Aps. Ray Ose was the
organist and Glendis Schulley
and John Ose provided the
vocal selections. Interment
was in the church cemetery
with the Belmont Funeral
home in charge of
Honorary pallbearers were
residents and staff at Oakland
Park Nursing home.
Serving as active
pallbearers were Ronald Asp,
Eric Ose, David Ose, Donald
Berggren, Roy Nelson and
Loiell Dyrud.
Mrs. Ose, the former
Gunhild Neset, was born
March 2, 1889 at Satersdahlen,
Norway to Jon and Jorunn
Neset. She grew to
womanhood in Norway. In
1906, she immigrated to the
United States, settling at
Grand Forks, N.D., where she
attended Aakers business
On Dec. 5, 1913, she was
married at Denver, Colo., to
Ole T. Ose. They made their
home in Silverton township,
Pennington county, until 1966,
when they moved to Aurora.
In 1972, Mrs. Ose returned to
Thief River Fallse and became
a resident of Valley Home.
There she lived until entering
Oakland Park Nursing
She was a longtime member
of Bethlehem Lutheran
Surviving are three sons:
Kenneth Ose, Thief River
Falls; Glenn, Coon Rapids;
and Ray, Center City; three
daughters: Mrs. Marjorie
Tungseth, Minneapolis; and
Mrs. Carl (June) Berggren
and Eleanor Ose, both of Thief
River Falls; 13 grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, who died in
March of 1969; a son, a
daughter, her parents and 11
brothers and sisters.
