Peterson Rites
Set Saturday at
Bethlehem Church

Funeral services will be held
Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
from the Bethlehem Lutheran
church, the Rev. Jonas Helland
of this city officiating, for Hans
H. Peteson[sic], 82, who passed away
Monday at a local hospital. In-
terment wll[sic] be made in the
church cemetery.
Born April 21, 1868 in Oslo,
Norway, Mr. Peterson came with
his parents to Northwood, N.D.
in 1885, where he was employed
until 1896, when he settled on a
homestead in Moylan township,
Marshall county.
He was married to Elina Gref-
sheim at Larimore, N.D. in
1895. In 1904 they moved to Ag-
der township, Marshall county,
where he retired from farming
in 1942. He has resided at the
Red River Valley Home for the
Aged for the past four years. A
charter member of the Bethle-
hem congregation, he also serv-
ed as a trustee for a number of
years.
He is survived by a daughter,
Mrs. Andrew Kisch of this city,
a stepson, Oscar Peterson of this
city, four grandchildren, a great
grandchild, and a half-sister,
Mrs. Iven Braaten of Seattle,
Wash. His wife, a son, three
brothers and three sisters pre-
ceded him in death.
