Obituary

Allette S. Polset was born in
Minneapolis Dec. 22, 1872. Her
father died when she was seven
years old and her mother married a-
gain and they went to Norman coun-
ty to live when she was 15 years
old, where she spent the remainder
of her girlhood days. Dec. 14, 1891
she was united in marriage with
Ole Reierson at the home of her
parents in Norman County. In 1892
they moved onto the farm southwest
of Holt which has been their home
since then.

About a year and a half ago Mrs.
Reierson became afflicted with con-
sumption and all that medical skill
and science could do was done to
cure her, but to no avail. The death
angel came to the home at eleven
o’clock on Tuesday forenoon August
22nd and bore the spirit of the
faithful wife and mother to the
Heavenly home where there is no
sickness, pain or sorrow. All the
family were at home to care for
their dear one in her last sickness,
and a host of friends sympathize
with them in their sorrow.

Ten children were born to Mr.
and Mrs. Reierson, their first child,
a girl, died at the age of seven
months. The others: Esther, Ru-
dolph, Anne, Obert, Oscar, Lawer-
ance, Myrtle, Gertrude and the baby
LeRoy are all living at home with
their father.

Funeral services were held at the
home at 12:30 last Thursday, con-
ducted by Rev. M. T. Strom, then
the remains were brought to the
Free Mission church where services
were held at 2 o’clock conducted by
Rev. Breederson, assisted by Rev.
Strom, and interment was made in
the local cemetery.
