Lewis Francis Rogalla, 34, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2004, at his home in Manvel, North Dakota.
Lewis was born on June 18, 1969 to LaVerne and Rebecca (Martin) Rogalla at Grand Forks, North Dakota. He was Baptized and Confirmed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Oslo, Minnesota. After graduation from Alvarado High School, he joined the United States Army, serving from 1987 to 1992. He was stationed in Germany and Korea. After returning home, Lewis helped his dad farm for four years. He then drove for Welin Trucking and currently was employed for Wilbur-Ellis Trucking.
Lewis enjoyed listening to his many country western CD’s, fishing, camping and golfing. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Lewis is survived by his dad and step-mother, LaVerne and Becky Rogalla, Oslo, MN; sister, Trish Rogalla of Breckenridge, MI; step-brother, Marc Merrill of Minneapolis, MN; step-sister, Kristine (Jeremy) Chandler of Climax, MN; grandmother, Betty Martin of Oslo, MN and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents, Casper Martin and Sarah and Florian Rogalla.
