Rites March 27th
for George Senum,
Silverton Farmer

Funeral rites will be held next
Wednesday, March 27, at 2 p.m.
from Bethlehem church for George
Senum of Silverton township, who
died at his home Monday. Burial
will be in the chuch cemetery.
Mr. Senum was born January 20,
1883, in Norway. At an early age,
he came to the United States and
in 1917 he was married at Strand-
quist to Jennie Holmstrom, and
immediately they established
their home on a farm in Silverton
township, where Mr. Senum resid-
ed until his death.
Surviving relatives include his
widow; six daughters, Mrs. Thom-
as Mason of Chicago, Mrs. Harold
Walker of San Francisco, and Vio-
let, Evelyn, Lorraine, and Delores,
all of Thief River Falls; and four
sons Edward of Pontiac, Mich.,
and Lawrence, Earl, and Wilfred,
all of Thief River Falls. Other ur-
vivors[sic] include three brothers, Ole
of Minneapolis, Tom of Pontiac,
and Gunder of Thief River Falls;
three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Elsdon
and Miss Annie Senum, both of San
Francisco, and Mrs. Sam. Groven
of Thief River Falls; also one
grandson. His parents, three bro-
thers, and two sisters preceded him
in death.
