Masonic graveside services for Clarence C. Simpson, 82, of Apache Junction, Arizona were held at Greenwood Cemetery Thursday morning with Harveydale Maruska, a Past Master of Warren Lodge 150, A.F. & A.M. officiating.
Mr. Simpson, the husband of Else Anderson, who was raised in Warren, had been a salesman of heavy road machinery for many years in the Red River Valley area and had been in the farm implement business in Norfolk, Nebraska before his retirement when he and Mrs. Simpson moved to Apache Junction. He fell and fractured a hip several months ago and never fully recovered. He died at Mesa, Arizona, Lutheran Hospital on October 21.
Mr. Simpson was born in Dallas, Illinois on September 12, 1895, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Simpson. He received his early education in Illinois. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Hillsboro, North Dakota, and Kem Temple of the Shrine in Grand Forks.
He was married on Dec 28, 1932, at Crookston to Else Anderson, who survives along with one sister, Mrs. Faye Millarke of Sioux City, Iowa.
