Mildred Stroble, 97, Warren, formerly of Angus, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Good Samaritan Center in Warren.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 8, at Angus-Tabor Presbyterian Church in Angus.
Mildred Ardell Jorgenson was born October 4, 1917, in Fisher to Isaac and Isabelle (Anderson) Jorgenson. She graduated from Fisher High School and attended Moorhead Teacher’s College. She taught in rural schools before graduating from the University of North Dakota in 1967. Mildred then taught in Warren Public Schools for many years.
Mildred married Merrill Stroble December 29, 1942. Merrill died April 13, 2002, and she moved to Warren in 2004.
She member of Angus-Tabor Presbyterian Church, and involved in United Presbyterian Women, Royal Neighbors of America, Homemakers Club, and TOPS.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Merrill; great-granddaughter, Briana Hanson; brothers, Raymond, Robert, Wallace, and Sheldon; sister, Aldores; infant sister, Isabelle; and her parents.
