Eileen Audrey Trochmann, 81, of Thief River Falls, died Friday, March 27, 2009 at Thief River Care Center.
Eileen Audrey Johnson was born in Newfolden, MN on January 24, 1928 to Nels and Inga (Hall) Johnson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith and attended school in Holt as well as Busy Bee country school. She then graduated from Newfolden High School. On August 22, 1948 Eileen was united in Marriage to Norris Arthur Trochmann in an outside wedding at her Uncle John’s in Newfolden. Eileen spent most of her working career as a homemaker on the family farm. She also worked as a telephone operator from 1946-1950. In 1990 Norris and Eileen moved from their farm into Thief River Falls where they have resided since.
Eileen enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers as well as cooking. She also enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. Eileen will be remembered for always being there for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
Eileen is survived by her husband Norris Trochmann of Thief River Falls, MN; children, Lowell (Lona) Trochmann of Thief River Falls, MN, Linda (Larry) Myhrer of Thief River Falls, MN, Laurie (John) Baril of Warroad, MN; grandchildren, Faith Myhrer, Larry Seth (Erin) Myhrer, Marcy (Troy) McQuown, Tammy (John) Weiher, Mark and Matt Trochmann, Robert and Kory Baril; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Emily, and Caleb Myhrer, Isaac, Jack, Elijah, and Katherine McQuown, Jed and Violet Weiher; and sister-in-law Ruth Johnson of Thief River Falls, MN.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clifford, Berton, Leonard, Lowell; infant sister Violet Laurine; and sister Violet Laurel Holmstrom.
